Water is a vital element which quality degrades itself regularly for several years. Treating it is today a priority, respecting it a necessity. That's why the UVc technology meets perfectly these both requirements.
Indeed, the bactericidal UV concept has for principle to generate ultraviolet rays inside a treatment chamber. These beams irradiate the living cells that are present in the liquid crossing the device, without modifying their physico-chemical criteria and without generating any residual solution.

Germs, viruses, bacteria will be consequently particularly sensitive to UV beams, and then lower vegetables such as algae, molds and their spores.

The basic principle, know since the beginning of the century, benefits from new materials (lamp with high germicide power and room of radiotherapy with strong coefficient of reflection) and a total matery of the parameters annex of functioning (environment, debit, application).
The quality of water being a significant part of the quality of life, the bactericide finds its interest in the fields as diversified as :
- Water treatment in complementarity in a data processing sequence (for example: communal water treatment, water treatment of bathe)
- Industrial water treatment

(for example: food industry, pharmaceutical industry)
- Water treatment in the field of the protection of the breedings
- Water treatment of network domestic
Radiations U.V. have a photochemical action on the bodies, action which appears by very diverse reactions such as :
UV RADIATION
The RER bactericidal units are conceived on the basic principle that UVc radiation destroys genetic structure of microorganisms, inhibits their ability to multiply and consequently causes their death.
According to the UV germicidal quantity that will be used, the living cell will be either sterilized (bacteriostatic effect) or killed (bactericide effect)
The bacteriostatic effect
In the case of a moderate absorption of UV energy, this one allows the cell to continue to live, but not while being able to any more reproduce, this cell is condemned to disappear.

The bactericidal effect
In the case of an absorption of energy superior to a certain dose, this one allows the destruction of the cell.

The legal minimal dose according to the circular of 19/01/87 of the Head Office of the Health is of :
25 000 micro watt assists by cm2.
By preoccupation with an effectiveness, bactericides the RER have an amount of energy higher than 40 000 micro-Ws/cm2.
THE BACTERICIDE FINDS ITS INTEREST IN DOMAINS AS DIVERSIFIED AS :

- WATER OF CONSUMPTION (well, driling, source)
- PROCESS' S WATER (industries)
- WATER OF REFUSAL (discharge), water-treatment plant
- WATER OF BATHING (swimming-pool, leisure centers)
- SEA WATER (fish breeding, ostreiculture)
- AQUATIC ENVIRONMENT (pond, enjoyment, aquarium)
- HORTICULTURAL ENVIRONMENT (nourishing solution)
Constantly innovating conceptions, precursor in UVc technologies (lamp, control and command devices, ...)
Low operating costs (lamps' life time up to 9 000 hours, i.e other one year).
No negative or secondary impact on human health.
Environmentally friendly method.
High adaptation flexibility thanks to modular and compact configurations.
Treatment optimization thanks to an integrated water diffuser.
